‘I began painting about 20 years ago, prior to taking early retirement from a 38 year career in nursing in 2015 to explore new places abroad. I found inspiration in the many sights and landscapes of places like the Maltese Islands and the contrasting cities of Europe. Now based in the beautiful surroundings of North Yorkshire I experiment with various mediums and with a particular love of pastels’.
