Maggie Harrison
Maggie has made art since childhood. Graduated from Sunderland University with BA(Hons) in Fine Art, then later with MA in Art in Context. She specialised in stained glass, with emphasis on silver stain. Was preparing for a PHD in silver stain, but had to abandon this because of ill health. Taught Art for NYCC and Stockton Council. She has a Diploma entitling her to teach in the Adult Learning Sector which is PTALS.
She recently had a solo exhibition at Heritage Gallery, Middlesbrough and is also a regular exhibitor at Palace Arts Gallery, Redcar, where she is a volunteer steward and helps hang work for exhibitions.
