Bob Baker
Bob is a retired nuclear engineer and quality manager. He was born in Leeds in 1947 and has worked in the Midlands, Scotland and the North East. He lives in Hutton Rudby. He enjoyed sketching and painting as a child and teenager but did not find much time for art until after his retirement. He became an active amateur artist in 2007 and was soon involved in the annual Hutton Rudby Artists’ Exhibition. He joined Leven Art Society in 2014. Whilst painting mainly for pleasure, Bob has met with modest success as an artist and has sold several of his paintings, including some commissioned works. He paints in watercolours and acrylics.
