Leven Art Society was founded in 1970, centred on the communities of Great Ayton, Stokesley and Hutton Rudby.  We are a group of  artists in Cleveland and North Yorkshire.

Each year, we hold an exhibition of original works of art in Stokesley Town Hall, most of which are available to purchase. Unfortunately, this year the corona virus epidemic prevented us from holding the exhibition planned for 30th April – 3rd May, but it will go ahead when possible.

During the resulting period of enforced isolation, our members have not been idle. Have a look at a selection of their current works in our Lockdown Gallery!

Or you can take a look at some of the 2019 exhibition here.

Our 2020 calendar, with striking images of some of the entries in the 2019 exhibition, has now sold out but you can have a look at it here. Our 2021 calendar is being prepared and will include paintings from the Lockdown Gallery.

Come into the site to learn more about us and see some of our members’ work.
